about me
My name is Brooke Elmore, and I am an undergraduate student studying Graphic and and Information Design at Northeastern University. I graduated from Downingtown STEM Academy with an International Baccalaureate Degree in 2019.
In college, I have been involved with WISE, the Women's Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurs, where I have been paired with an upperclassman mentor, who is another Design major. In addition, I am a design team member of two different on-campus publications, WOOF and Tastemakers Music Magazine. I design spreads and graphics for each of these magazines' bi-annual print publications.
This year, I have joined the Fall 2020 Scout Labs team, where I will be working with a small team of students to complete a human-centered design thinking project. We are partnering with the Boston Mayor's Office of New Mechanics to work on a civic engagement project in the city.
In my free time, I enjoy blogging and posting about my journey with Celiac Disease. I post all of my gluten-free food finds on my Instagram @Celiactivist and my blog, celiactivistblog.com.
